In the face of colonial threat many fearless people in Africa were ready to give their lives for resistance. The one-hander “Tiro’s Toughloop Testimony” zooms in on the life of one of them, Onkgopotse Tiro, who became the first across the border victim of the malicious Apartheid regime. As they embark on a path which has been chosen by many other South Africans before them, they experience a slew of difficulties. How can one keep control over one’s own future when conflicts like land occupation, loadshedding, drug abuse and cultural and religious fights are rife in the country? Within the current political times “Enyanyeni” is a story of the tenacity of the South African youth.
