Masambe Theatre

The Masambe is our fresh space designed for more intimate audiences, often used for the purposes of giving new theatre-makers a platform to showcase their work. The venue entrance for audiences is situated at the parking of the Baxter Theatre Centre. Entrance to the theatre is through a foyer area that leads to an auditorium with a seating capacity of 60. The stage size is 4,730m wide with a depth of 3,675m. The stage, although black, does allow for projections on a white wall that is covered by a curtain. This space is best suited for up and coming artists to perform their work to a more intimate audience.
